Items

The meaningful objects of your story — tracked with provenance, a current holder, and a gallery.

Some objects carry weight — a sword, a locket, a letter that changes everything. The Items library is your reliquary: each item has a kind, a one-line hook, a gallery of imagery, and a holder drawn from your cast, so you always know who has it now.

Items library — the reliquary

Quick start
  1. 1Open Items from Story World and click New item.
  2. 2Choose a kind (weapon, heirloom, document, relic…) and give it a name and one-liner.
  3. 3Add imagery in the gallery — upload, or generate with AI.
  4. 4Set the current holder from your character library.
  5. 5Write its provenance and significance in the profile tabs.

The Item Sheet

  • Name, one-liner, and a kind (weapon, heirloom, document, vehicle, relic, and more)
  • A cover and full image gallery — reorder images and view any one full-screen
  • Generate item art with AI for a quick visual reference
  • A holder field linking the item to the character who currently carries it
  • Profile tabs for origins, journey, significance, current use, and legacy
  • Link the item to the books and universes it appears in

Because an item is shared, its holder and history stay consistent everywhere it appears — no more losing track of who's holding the artefact three books later.

Every great story starts with a single sentence.
