Cities, rooms, wilds, and landmarks — each with imagery, sensory detail, and a list of every scene set there.
Your Locations library is the atlas of your world. Each place gets a card with cover imagery and a sheet where you capture how it looks, sounds, and feels. Because locations are shared across your books, a single entry gathers every scene that happens there, wherever it appears in the story.

- 1Open Locations from Story World and click New location.
- 2Set a name, one-liner, and location type.
- 3Add cover imagery from the gallery — upload photos or generate art with AI.
- 4Write into the profile tabs: sensory detail, geography, history, and more.
- 5Check the Scenes tab to see every scene set at this location.
The Location Sheet
- Name, one-liner, and a location type (city, room, wilderness, landmark, and more)
- A photo gallery — add multiple images, reorder them, and view any full-screen
- Generate location art with AI when you want a visual reference
- Profile tabs for Overview, Sensory, Geography, History, Inhabitants, Research, and Notes
- Add your own named sections to any tab
- Link the location to the books and universes it belongs to
Scenes Set Here
The Scenes tab pulls together every scene that takes place at this location, grouped by book and chapter — a read-only cross-reference that grows as you write. It's the fastest way to check continuity for a recurring place.
Pin the handful of places your story keeps returning to. Pinned locations sort to the front of the library so your key settings are always on top.
